Our Mission

Our vision at Lady T Hope Brigade is a compassionate community where every person affected by cancer feels supported, valued, and empowered with the resources and encouragement needed to navigate their journey with dignity, strength, and hope.

Our mission at Lady T Hope Brigade is to improve the quality of life and bring a sense of comfort and happiness to individuals and families impacted by cancer by providing timely care packages, meals, essential resources, and emotional support—reducing stress, meeting immediate needs, and ensuring no one faces their cancer journey alone.

Our Programs and Initiatives

1. Cancer Care Package Program (Adults & Children)

Distributes thoughtfully curated care packages to adults and children impacted by cancer
Packages include comfort items, hygiene essentials, encouragement materials, and age-appropriate activities
Designed to provide emotional comfort, dignity, and practical support during treatment and recovery

2. Hope Lodge Support Initiative

Provides monthly meals, supplies, and bingo nights with prizes for families staying at the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge
Focuses on creating a sense of normalcy, joy, and community for individuals receiving treatment away from home

3. Meal & Food Assistance Program

Offers meals and grocery assistance to individuals and families affected by cancer
Includes holiday meal boxes (Thanksgiving and Christmas) and emergency food support during times of hardship
Addresses food insecurity caused by medical and financial strain

4. Fundraising & Awareness Initiatives

Hosts community events, raffles, donation drives, and themed fundraisers to support ongoing programs
Raises awareness about cancer support needs, survivorship, and caregiver challenges

5. Emotional Support & Encouragement Services

Provides ongoing encouragement, connection, and emotional support to individuals and families navigating cancer
Creates safe, supportive spaces where people feel seen, supported, and not alone

Meet Our Admin Team

My name is Tamika Marshall. I am the CEO/Founder of Lady T Hope Brigade. After my own battle with Uterine Cancer in 2015 I was inspired to create this organization to provide hope, support, and resources to individuals in our community facing similar challenges. Our mission is to stand strong so no one fights alone, and I’m honored to lead this effort alongside our incredible team and supporters.

My name is Kashara Kinnard, and I serve as the Executive Secretary for Lady T Hope Brigade. I’m dedicated to ensuring the smooth operation of our organization by providing vital administrative support and assisting in our mission to stand strong for those battling cancer. I’m honored to be part of a team that brings hope and resources to our community.

My name is Erica Billingsley, and I’m the Program Director at Lady T Hope Brigade. I oversee our programs to ensure they effectively serve our mission and make a meaningful impact in the community. I’m passionate about creating and enhancing initiatives that provide support and hope to those we serve.

My name is Mack Williams and I’m the Volunteer Coordinator for Lady T Hope Brigade. I’m passionate about connecting dedicated individuals with meaningful opportunities to support our mission. My goal is to ensure that every volunteer has a fulfilling experience while making a positive impact in our community.

My name is Jaquandria Hayes, and I am the Finance Director/Treasurer for Lady T Hope Brigade. I oversee the financial health of our organization to ensure we can continue providing vital support to individuals battling cancer. I’m committed to transparency and responsible stewardship of our resources as we work towards our mission.
