Lady T Hope Brigade’s vision is to create a compassionate and supportive community that uplifts individuals and families facing cancer with strength, dignity, and unwavering support. We strive to ensure that no one fights alone by providing essential resources, emotional encouragement, and advocacy for better care. Through education, outreach, and meaningful connections, we are dedicated to empowering those affected by cancer and inspiring a future where early detection, advanced treatments, and community-driven support lead to improved survival and a better quality of life for all.

Lady T Hope Brigade’s mission is to stand strong in the fight against cancer, ensuring that no one faces this journey alone. Rooted in compassion, resilience, and hope, we provide emotional support, essential resources, and community-driven assistance to individuals and families affected by cancer. Through advocacy, education, and acts of kindness, we strive to uplift spirits, promote early detection, and ease the burdens of those in need. Our goal is to be a beacon of strength and support, inspiring courage and fostering a future where no one fights cancer without the love and care of a dedicated community.

Our Programs and Initiatives

Community Support & Patient Care

✔ Dinner & Bingo Nights – Monthly events at Hope Lodge, providing meals, fun, and emotional support for cancer patients.
✔ HOPE Care Packages – Personalized kits with blankets, snacks, journals, inspirational messages, and comfort items.
✔ Transportation Assistance – Volunteer-driven rides and gas gift cards to help patients attend medical appointments.
✔ Wellness & Mental Health Support – Support groups, one-on-one mentorship, and therapy resources for patients and caregivers.

Awareness & Early Detection Advocacy

✔ Free Community Cancer Screenings – Partnering with medical professionals to provide mammograms, pap smears, and wellness exams.
✔ Educational Workshops & Seminars – Focused on prevention, lifestyle choices, and coping mechanisms for patients and caregivers.
✔ Survivor Stories Campaign – Spotlighting cancer warriors to inspire hope and emphasize early detection benefits.

Meet Our Admin Team

My name is Tamika Marshall. I am the Founder/Executive Director of Lady T Hope Brigade. After my own battle with Uterine Cancer in 2015 I was inspired to create this organization to provide hope, support, and resources to individuals in our community facing similar challenges. Our mission is to stand strong o no one fights alone, and I’m honored to lead this effort alongside our incredible team and supporters.

My name is Kashara Kinnard, and I serve as the Executive Secretary for Lady T Hope Brigade. I’m dedicated to ensuring the smooth operation of our organization by providing vital administrative support and assisting in our mission to stand strong for those battling cancer. I’m honored to be part of a team that brings hope and resources to our community.

My name is Erica Billingsley, and I’m the Program Director at Lady T Hope Brigade. I oversee our programs to ensure they effectively serve our mission and make a meaningful impact in the community. I’m passionate about creating and enhancing initiatives that provide support and hope to those we serve.

My name is Mack Williams and I’m the Volunteer Coordinator for Lady T Hope Brigade. I’m passionate about connecting dedicated individuals with meaningful opportunities to support our mission. My goal is to ensure that every volunteer has a fulfilling experience while making a positive impact in our community.

My name is Jaquandria Hayes, and I am the Finance Director/Treasurer for Lady T Hope Brigade. I oversee the financial health of our organization to ensure we can continue providing vital support to individuals battling cancer. I’m committed to transparency and responsible stewardship of our resources as we work towards our mission.
